I think there was also a scenario where he wanted to super speed a search of the city, and one where he wanted to super speed across a Business complex to learn more about something. We also had a small debate over whether or not he would be able to carry everyone to that prison. As the Player I would have dropped it, and as the DM I would have let him do it, but as neither I just shook my head and ate pizza. I don't want to sound stupid, but the amount of calculations that were happening were very high. (The rest of us had Pizza and secondary characters to build so we weren't terribly concerned.) They both analysed VERY specifically how many people could be evacuated. I think the debate lasted roughly an hour. Last game him and the DM had a very long debate on whether or not he could run across a prison and evacuate everyone. The likelihood that you make something original is highly unlikely. I encourage you to just do what you think is cool. Shes basically a Jedi now that I think of it. My secondary character uses Telekinesis to enhance her natural strength and slices things in half. Super Strong Heroes are cliche but enjoyable. Our Party Shapeshifter (who is actually our speedster) turns into various video game characters like Sonic, Bastion (the point and roll adventure), and Professor Layton. It takes away from every other Hero when you can just do anything in the blink of an eye. Like you can't just Speed Force everything. But there are a lot of times when Speedsters get temporarily "nerfed" for the sake of story telling. If you're willing to have your DM tell you no frequently, you can be a Speedster. (Usually I get carried by our Teleporter or Speedster) This character has no enhanced movement, and its actually been a bit of complication in arriving to crime scenes. Hes kinda just not sure whats going on at all. I currently play a Healer who is possessed by an Angel and gets visions and powers from it without knowing what is going on. Especially if you're "possessed" by an Angel or a Demon. I kinda regret not making Cavalry but party needed a magic guru and already had a speedster so. I liked that character, but I ended up deciding to go for a magic user instead. One Idea I remembered is the character cavalry, who rode around on his/her motorcycle or a horse and used a lance, sword, gun or bow. Usually I choose Flight, Vehicle or Teleport depending on what I choose for character theme. SPEEDSTERS ARE THE BANE OF GMS EVERYWHERE (EDITL I am apparently the only person who has problems with Speedster characters. You want a movement power BUT OH MY GOD YOU DO NOT WANT SUPER SPEED. It just makes more sense in the campaign. You're probably doing Emerald City Knights, so you want to play someone without access to many resources. Okay so, I'm going to be straight with you.
